This week’s Photo Friday is a little different and very special. This week we’re not focusing on a photographer, but on a photo, more specifically a moment captured by a photograph.

In the days leading up to and following New Year’s Eve, the entire Dreamers & Doers team escaped the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles and fled to Northern California on a voyage to Lake Tahoe. We danced in single-degree temperatures atop several feet of snow at SnowGlobe Music Festival, we partook in photo adventures, we played shuffleboard, pool, and card games, and we relaxed in Kigurumi Animal Onesies in front of the fireplace. We worked so hard in 2015 that ringing in the New Year with anyone else was simply out of the question.

This picture captures all of us (and some significant others) at the peak of our adventure. We drove up into the mountains to get a better view of Emerald Bay. Along the way we captured many gorgeous pictures, including selfies and Snapchats, and more importantly we made some pretty rad memories as well.

We hope that your New Year’s Eve and the entire year that follows is filled with love and collaboration. We have many great adventures to share in the coming year and we can’t wait to see whose paths we cross along the way. If you know of any artists, photographers, or creative types who you think we should spotlight here, feel free to comment with suggestions, we are always looking to broaden our palette and give recognition to people whose creative work inspires others.

We hope you’ll join us in contributing to a New Year filled with teamwork, insight, and motivation.
