Designer Con is a dream come true for artists everywhere, and this past weekend was another successful year for the annual convention. Over the last decade, this creative event has evolved from a tiny 1,100 square foot meeting room to a 70,000 square foot space where 300 vendors from all over the world have the opportunity to showcase and sell endless types of original art.

Created in 2006 under the name Vinyl Toy Network, Designer Con now also incorporates art that ranges from fine to urban, books, apparel, sculptures, graphics, plush, printing, design and much more. Although collectible toys remain the heart and soul of this convention, custom shows and live demonstrations are also available, which makes the experience fulfilling in so many unique ways.
Located at the Pasadena Convention Center, individual booths brimming with art are absolutely everywhere, and with a $5 admission fee, attendees can explore the floor freely, take it all in, and score perfectly thoughtful gifts for the holidays (nice timing)!
Designer Con continues to grow each and every year, and we highly encourage any creative soul looking to network or engage with other artists to attend in 2016. Art lovers will leave feeling wonderfully overwhelmed and inspired until next year’s amazing exhibit!
